In mid September, we showcased B-Secur’s expertise and innovation in health tech on the international stage of NIBizLondon. This event saw leading companies from across Northern Ireland showcasing their products, services and expertise in London as part of a high-profile Northern Ireland Business and Innovation Showcase. It followed a Number 10 reception hosted by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and a City of London Corporation reception at London’s Guildhall to welcome Northern Ireland businesses to the capital.
CCO, Ben Carter spoke at a two-day (Oct 19 & 20) event in Belfast which provided Northern Ireland companies the opportunity to pitch to more than 80 venture capital investors from London and the rest of the UK.
CTO, Adrian Condon participated in a panel discussion at the online Arm DevSummit 2021 (Oct 19-21). He discussed how machine learning can play an important role as smartwatches become ever more complex.
Then in November, as restrictions eased and travel to the US was permitted, members of our executive, commercial and engineering teams headed to Boston, Detroit and Minneapolis to meet with customers and investors face to face.

A welcome to our stakeholders
In September we welcomed over 30 of our investors, board members and shareholders to our headquarters in Belfast. With people locally, across the UK and even from the U.S. in attendance, it was a great opportunity to see the technology in real life and also meet the amazing team in B-Secur.
Our growing team
In December we celebrated the arrival of our 50th employee. We know that it is the people that make B-Secur the success that it is and considering the current climate, we are incredibly proud to be in the position of growing our expertise and breaking into new markets.
This growth couldn’t be achieved without the hard work and dedication of the employees at B-Secur. It’s a privilege to have so many talented people, from our engineers to our operations team, who are passionate about what they do. In 2021, we wanted to share the stories of our brilliant team, getting their insights into life at B-Secur, thoughts on the industry trends, and of course their own hobbies!
